Advocaat Bundt Cake (Eierlikör Gugelhupf)

This is a deliciously beautiful cake to serve on Easter. Dust the cake with powder sugar  and serve it with an berry compote, to make it extra special.

What you need:

2 1/8 cups sugar

1 cup (250ml) melted Butter

5 eggs

2 cups flour

1/4 cup cornstarch

1 cup advocaat (Eierlikör)

3 tsp of baking powder

1 1/2 tsp vanilla paste or real vanilla extract

Preheat your oven to 180C or 350F. Prepare your bundt cake pan by buttering the pan, as well dusting it with flour, for an easy release. Mix the flour, starch and baking powder together. Mix with a  hand mixer all wet ingredients together, until all is combined and creamy. Mix the flour into the wet ingredients. Fill your pan with the batter. Bake for about 45-50min, until a wooden stick comes out clean and the cake has a nice color. Let the cake cool for 5 min, before releasing it on to a wired rack.

Enjoy!

Tip:  to make a different variation, you can add chocolate sprinkles, nuts or berries to your batter!
