Garlic Pork Chops

Super jucy and tasty are these easy made pork chops. If you love garlic, those delicious chops won’t disappoint you. Serve these with roast potatoes and green asparagus.



What you need:

4 pork chops

4 tbs oil

1/2 onion, finely chopped

6 large garlic cloves, thinly sliced

1 tbs herbs de provence

1 tbs fresh chopped parsley

1/2 chicken broth

1 red chilli pepper, finely chopped

2 tbs butter

salt & pepper


Preheat your oven for 5 min to 200C  or 400F, then turn the oven back off. Season your pork chops with salt and pepper. In a large enough pan, heat the 4 tbs of oil. Let it get really hot, almost to a smoking point. Fry your pork chops for 1-2 min on each side, just to get some color.  Lay the pork chops onto a plate and wrap them in aluminum foil. Place them into the warm oven.Turn down the heat to a medium heat, and sautée the onions for 1 min. Add the broth to the pan. Stir well, so the drippings will be picked up by the broth. Add the garlic slices, herbs and 1 tbs of butter to the broth, stir well until all is we’ll combined. Let it simmer for 1-2 min. Now add your pork chops with their drippings back into the pan.  Cover them from both sides with the sauce. Add the fresh parsley and chilli on to the pork chops. Serve immediately with the sauce.
