Pear Cake Cookies

You have the softness of a cake with a cookie shell. The pear chunks make these cookies moist & juicy!

 

 

I got 9 cookies out of the recipe, but only cause I didn’t care to measure them so that the size would be exactly the same.

 

what you need:

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup oil ( sunflower or else)

1 1/4 cup wholegrain flour

1 tablespoon vanilla paste or real vanilla extract

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/8 tsp all spice

1/8 Cardamon

1/8 tsp baking soda

2 tablespoons of apple sauce

1 pear, peeled and cut in to little chunks

1 /3 Cup whole fat plain yogurt

5 tablespoons  cinnamon sugar

 

Preheat your oven to 350 Fahrenheit or 180 Celsius. Add all dry ingredients into a bowl and give it a quick mix. Now add your wet ingredients, except for the pear, and mix with a wooden spoon, until your dough comes together nicely ( clean bowl). Now add you pear chunks, and give it carfully a good last mix, so the chunks are covered with dough. On a baking tray,  laid out with parchment paper, form your Pear dough into balls, about 1 tablespoons each or any size you like. Set them apart, so they won’t stick together as they spread. Bake them for about 20-25 min  (depending on your oven). Take them out, and while hot, dip them in them in to the  cinnamon sugar mixture. Let them cool off. Best when they are fresh!
