Tandoori Chicken

you will need:

4 chicken thighs

3 tablesp. olive oil

6 garlic cloves minced

1 1/2 tablesp. finely minced ingwer

2 teasp. cumin

2 teasp. chilli powder

1/4  teasp. finely grounded cloves

1/4 teasp. finely grounded anise

1 tablesp. graham masala

2 limes

1 cup plain yogurt

heat the oil in a pan on medium heat and add the garlic and ingwer into the pan. after about 2-3 min add the spices ( it will turn into a dark paste).

take it away from the heat and split the paste into 2 halves. in a bowl add one half of the paste, and add 2 teasp. of salt  and 2 tablesp. of lime juice. mix it all well. take the chicken and remove all the skin. cut some pockets into the chicken. now rub all the paste you mixed into the chicken and marinate at least for 30 min.

take the other half of the paste and mix it in another bowl with 2 tablesp. of lime juice, and the cup of yogurt. after you have marinate it, mix the chicken with the yogurt mix.

bbq on a grill  or set your oven to 325 fahrenheit and cook till chicken is through ( cook slowly or the yogurt will burn to fast) then set it on to very high  and let it grill in the oven for a few min so the chicken gets a  crisp.
