Easy Cabbage-Pasta

you will need:

1 pound or 450gr. cabbage ( finely sliced)

1 pound or 450gr. ground beef

1 onion  cut in half and sliced

1 garlic minced

1 tablesp. each of butter and oil

1/2 cup of chicken stock

1/2 pound or 250gr. of ribbon noodles (bandnudeln)

2 tablesp. of fresh chopped parsley

salt and pepper

dab of sour cream (optional)

a dash of cayenne pepper (optional)

cook the pasta, as instructed on the package in a slightly salted water. drain them but do NOT rinse them off, cover and put them aside until ready to use. heat up a big pan on an medium to high heat, add the oil and the butter. brown the the ground beef and break them into little pieces as you browning the meat. add the onion,garlic and the cabbage, fry for 3 min. add the chicken stock and keep frying for 4 min ( keep stirring) , season with salt and pepper. add the pasta and fry for 2 more min. try it and if needed, season some more with salt and pepper. away from the heat, add the parsley… served on a plate, add a dab of sour cream and  a dash of the cayenne pepper.

this is a really easy and quick meal, with great comfort…
